The Booth!

The Sassy Pose booth was a success! Thanks to all those that came out and supported us. We sold out of a lot of merch. All of our SPose jewelry is gone! Everything left is on super sale to get it out of stock to make room for our future new orders. The website will be updated later this week. Right now it is under construction so we can clear out everything we sold at the booth. We'll keep everyone posted on our plans when we know them! Thanks for following!

Holiday style!

Good evening everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic patriotic weekend. I had a fabulous 4th of July weekend! It was everything I hoped for and more. This is a pretty good representation of how I felt the whole time...

{in case you can't tell...this should represent bliss ;)}

I did pretty well on my holiday goals that I mentioned in the previous post. I worked on my look....put together new outfits, played with my makeup, and changed hairstyles for each event! I definitely improved my footwear. I never just slipped on cheap flip flops...I planned my outfits around my Sassy Pose sandals {only $11.99} and my Sassy Pose black flats {only $11.99} !

My goals with food moderation is a whole different story... :)

Fresh Perspective

We are changing up the SPose blog again! Gotta change with the times. We are bored reading our own blog so we took that as a sign. This blog will no longer be used to talk about Sassy Pose sales, items, looks, etc. Of course we will mention our products periodically...it just won't be the main focus. To keep everyone up-to-date with S-pose sales and items we will continue to update Twitter and Facebook so check it every now and again!

So back to this blog- just be ready for something amazing! We want to cover EVERYTHING that girls, women, females like. It's going to look something like this: makeup and hairstyle tips and how-to's, looks we love, fashion no-no's, work-out tips for tone, dessert how-to's, T.V show reviews and opinions, pictures, and giveaways! Let us know what you want to see by voting on the poll to the left there. We have been inspired from other blogs and websites we have found and we think here at Sassy Pose that we have a fresh perspective to share!

The Need for an Undershirt

For some reason, when I went to college in 2002, I started wearing undershirts religiously... maybe its because I went to BYUI and they were strict about skin showing... anyway, as fashion evolved, layering became way fashionable but also necessary. Now days, I feel weird if I'm not wearing an undershirt. Pretty much everyone that I know has a million undershirts in every color.. and you should too! A great basic under could add an interesting element to any outfit... or add a contrasting color under to pop any outfit!

Not everyone in the world wears undershirts (in my opinion ALL guys should wear them ALL the time!) but there are some looks that ABSOLUTELY REQUIRE a good undershirt... let' s look at some DO NOT'S:

If you're wearing a deep V neck, wear an undershirt!! No one wants to see your bra

If your shirt is too short or too tight, do yourself a favor and wear and undershirt, no one wants to see your buldges or tummy!

Unfortunately, we are not always aware that our shirt is see through so when in doubt, just wear something under!

99.9% of the world has an ugly back, not only that but who actually likes to see butt crack when someone bends over... quick fix... add an under shirt!

Ok, that was a little scary, but look how cute these outfits are when they add a SHADE layering tank under their tops... cuter and not one of them looks disgusting!!

Add a tank under deep V's and open front tops


Put a simple tank underneath shirts that might be too short or ride up when you sit down




Add a cute color tank under cardigans or sweaters

Movin' on Up!

I am a flip flop girl. I grew up in Texas and pretty much lived in flip flops. It was so weird when I moved to Rexburg and flip flops were not allowed. My feet felt clostrophobic! I love that flip flops are so cheap and they don't take up very much room in my closet. I have a pair in every color!


So the last couple of summers I have noticed a shift in summer foot wear. A lot of cute sandals have been coming out... maybe its because I am getting older but I have had a craving to be wearing better quality foot wear. I have been on the hunt for a replacement to my old friends, the flip flops. I just like the way that sandals make your outfit look more put together and less sloppy.

Farewell to my old friends! I'm movin' up in fashion!

We were looking for some inspiration so I asked Mr. Joe Zee from 'THE CITY' ,who is also the creative director of ELLE magazine, what trends he was predicting for the summer. We were so stoked when he actually wrote back!!! Twitter is a great invention. There is no other way someone could get professional fashion advice from the top of the fashion food chain in just a couple of minutes. Just sayin'.

So we were already surprised to see his response and then we got even more excited because here was his answer:

'for summer i am loving pleated shorts rolled up, gladiator sandals, simple accessories and baggy boyfriend tee's and tanks' (wording something very close to that)

The reason we loved that answer is because that is exactly what we ordered for our Sassy Pose spring/summer collection!!! Oh we are so on top of it ;) So, look forward to our long shorts, simple accessories, boyfriend tees, and gladiator sandals! All of our new stuff launches next week!

Taste Treat!

We have been seriously neglecting this bloggie...poor little thing..so lonely. So we are going to jump on the motivation train and commit to a blog at least every other day. That's just F.Y.I so you can check it as often as poss!

Here at SaSsY PoSe we are constantly checking celeb fashion, recent runway shows and lookbooks...that's where we get our ideas and inspirations for purchasing. Well that and people watching ;) So we thought that we would share with you some of the favorites we find.

Let me tell you a little story about our recent inspiration: Our Dad is very innovative when it comes to...well, a lot of things but mostly DESSERTS! He is famous for sprinkling a little Tang Mix on Ice Cream or adding PeanutButter to anything just to try it out. Oh the memories of the pickle snow cone or a tortilla chip dipped in cookie dough. Sometimes it gets a little out there but we hear "don't knock it til you try it". So whenever he tries something new and it actually turns out to be good he calls it a Taste Treat Delight!

So...point of the story... our daily dish of fashion love is going to be called Taste Treat of the day. Why? Do you ask! Well we like to find people that have tried something new and different and pulled it off. And sometimes we can just like the good old fashioned safe style that always looks good. Either way...we will share our finds with you. And those with good taste (in fashion ;) become our treat!
