DRAMA!

Sometimes its just fun dressing dramatic! These are not Sassy Pose items but I just wanted to share some other cool looks with you! The heel was worn by Alicia Keys...I just saw it and wondered if you have to be a celebrity to pull that off? It would be fun to wear if you had some fun fancy place to go(and if you have really beautiful feet that you want to draw attention to) But do any of us have a place we could wear those? i wish...

I have really been wanting some over the knee boots. I first wanted them when I was watching Rachel Zoe and I saw Taylor wearing some really high and Sassy leather ones. I think I would get some flat suede ones if I do. Just because then I can wear them more often. We'll see if I decide to go for it...I am already putting some amazing outfits together in my head. Yum!

We just really want to say THANK YOU to everyone that reads this blog, looks at the Sassy website, attends the parties, etc. Setting up Sassy Pose has been such a fun project. It really has just given us a creative outlet that we LOVE! We said from the start that we aren't doing this to replace our job, we just want to have fun practicing what we are interested in and learning about everything that comes with it.

It really means a lot to us that we feel so much support from everyone. Its so exciting every time someone is interested in what we're doing. We love when someone is excited about looking at the products, or even just comments on the group or website. I don't know if you can handle this cheesiness but it seriously makes me want to tear up when I see a friend or family member has ordered from the site. For all I know our family could be the only ones reading these posts. But it means a lot to me that they do.

I love when my sisters bring their friends over because they saw something on the website and want to buy it and everytime we get an order from someone we don't even know its thrilling. One of my best friends bought something right when we started and has had her family looking at the site and ordering things too. I don't know if its just to be supportive or because they love the products but either way I am just so appreciative to know wonderful and supportive people!

So I know this post isn't about the looks or products but I just wanted to take a second to say thanks. I promise I'll post about a more relevant topic tomorrow, I just couldn't help myself. We really do just want to sell you what you want so don't ever hesitate to tell us. Even if its not about what we are selling and you want to share a look you like. Feel free! Today we were deciding what shoes we have that are the best to sell for the holidays since we started our Holiday Shoes Sale! I was looking through all the shoes and rediscovered my love for the NYDIA HEELS we have! They are black suede with the cutest little zoosh decor on the peep toe! The pictures just don't capture the way I see them in real life. I decided they are the absolute best for the Holidays since they scream 'Christmas Party' OR 'New Years Party'. They are classy and so tall. I always say 'the taller the better' because the higher they are the better they make your legs look. I tried them on for the first time and fell in love all over again because they are actually so much more comfortable than I expected. So needless to say I bought them for myself from myself and they are making my shoe collection look so good. Now I just need a new outfit to wear them with and something to do on New Year's Eve! We love the "Danielle Necklace" It can be worn with a casual look: jeans and a comfy sweater, long sleeve basic T and with a cute vest, etc. or dressed up: with your church clothes, or dark winter looks under a coat.

I wore it today with a solid color sweater and jeans, paired with the Elsie cuff



Just a side note: we are loving the mis-matched look this season. Dont be afraid to mix colors and metals. Every person should have some muted silver or pewter colored bracelets to pair with more 'shiny' pieces or brightly colored accessories like a scarf or bright solid bracelets.

Bracelets!

I am in love with this oversized wooden bracelet! It's amazing because I can wear it with a black chunky crocheted sweater and heels or just a long sleeve tee and converse. Today I'm dressing it up a little more so I added some black and silver bangles to it to spice it up! (Please notice how Vampire white I am in that top pic...its in honor of twilight :) I add some type of bangles to the sides of a 'main piece' bracelet on any given day. Its a look I love right now! You can tell in the pictures we have taken so far on the website. Bracelets are a must!

Startin it up...

We started Sassy Pose because we wanted to have fun working with something we love and to share our style with everyone! We started Sassy Pose-THE BLOG to explain some of our thoughts and feelings behind the items we have decided to sell on our website. We hope to share, educate and entertain with this blog!

I have been really thinking about style while working on sassypose.com. I've realized that style is all about the way you feel. That is the beauty of it! You don't HAVE to have a certain style to look or feel good. You just have to decide what you like and be confident in that. I have gone through so many phases with my style. And YES I do look back on a lot of them and think "I wonder what I was thinking that day". And I probably have days like that still but as long as I am living in the style I feel good in right now it's worth it.

Everyone has a different perspective and they come to the conclusion of what looks good through that persepctive. And that is how we have personal style! Right now I am in love with bracelets. I also love the textured tights with heels look! LOVE! I ALSO love big chunky sweaters with sweater leggings and boots. I have too many favorites so I need to stop myself but you get the idea!

Please keep in mind that this blog is our personal opinion being shared. A certain style that I might not like could be your favorite look. I am just sharing my perspective for fun and to give you a little sneek peek into the style behind the looks we hope will be put together with our Sassy Pose items.
